The program aims to support the Government of Uzbekistan
in improving:
- selected urban infrastructure, public spaces and assets,
as well as access to services in participating cities;
- institutional capacity of relevant institutions,
to build and manage local infrastructure.
The company provides the following consulting services within the framework of the project:
- Conducting an operational situational analysis of the tourism development potential in 4 individual tourism regions, which will contribute to the development of a common vision and strategic goals
with corresponding tourism destination concepts, project options and prioritization, development
and promotion of new tourism destinations in an integrated
and sustainable manner;
- Developing a plan for the effective implementation of strategies, including proposed planning of priority investments for the practical implementation of the concept, concepts and strategies for sustainable development
in individual regions;
- Developing marketing, branding and development strategies for the Fergana Valley, Surkhandarya, Kashkadarya and Bukhara regions;
- Improving the national and regional system of monitoring and evaluation of tourism, based on international standards of tourism
and the tourism industry;
- Developing and implementing an individual comprehensive program
to build capacity for the travel and tourism industry, as well as key stakeholders of the Integrated Development of Medium-Sized cities.
